2020 is really an unusual year. And with all the lockdowns, restrictions and rules for public gathering, if you are planning to do a wedding, it’s just super tricky.
Usually I would meet up with the wedding couple to discuss their wedding plan and details in a coffee shop or wedding venue month(s) before the wedding, but with the lockdowns (didn’t help I was also sick) I end up only met with Mary and RC through a Zoom call instead. The first time I met with Mary and RC in person was on their wedding day and actually, I only met with RC minutes before their wedding ceremony started!
The weather also wasn’t the calmest that day as even the Auckland Harbour Bridge was closed that morning due to the super strong wind. (you can see the wind in some of the photos).
But despite all these challenges, it turned out to be an amazing wedding! Beautiful and happy ceremony at St. Michael’s Church, followed by a really fun and quick (and cold) photoshoot at Muriwai beach and then we had the reception at the stunning Allely Estate in Kumeu.
Here are some photos I want to share with you guys and especially all the family and friends of Mary and RC. Hope you like it! and I need to continue editing the rest of the photos now 🙂
